We are a small community of 65 homes.
Located in Maple Valley, Washington, we are approximately 30 minutes south of North Bend and Snoqualmie, just east of Kent, and Covington, and north of Black Diamond.
The Elk Run neighborhood was originally built to border the Elk Run Golf Course.
Our homes reside on:
SE 277th Pl
SE 279th St
226th Ct SE
227th Ct SE
The Elk Run neighborhood is grateful to be located in the highly ranked Tahoma School District 409. Children living in the Elk Run Div. 3 & 5 subdivisions currently attend:
Glacier Park Elementary School (grades K-5),
Maple View Middle School (grades 6-8)
Tahoma Senior High School (grades 9-12).
If you love the outdoors, Maple Valley is central to many nearby activities that will keep you busy all year round! If your interests happen to be golfing, hiking, kayaking, mountain biking, boating, skiing, camping, or hiking, life in Maple Valley offers something for everyone.
Our local indoor swimming pool is located in Kent. It shares the property with Maple View Middle School and is only 15 minutes away. The Covington Pool offers swim lessons and teams for all ages. It also supports the Boys/Girls Swim teams at Tahoma High School and many other aquatic classes.
Many Elk Run residents enjoy walking our neighborhood sidewalks and paved trails down below the power lines. We are also within walking distance of the Four Corners shopping area that offers a 24-hour Safeway, Fred Meyer, Starbucks, fast food options, dry cleaners, other services, several restaurants, and medical and dental clinics for the whole family.
If you desire Mall Shopping, within an hour's drive you'll find the Auburn Supermall, Southcenter Mall, and the North Bend outlets. Also, in Auburn and Kent are large Movie Theaters.
We love our little family neighborhood and take pride in the way our homeowners and renters maintain the homes and yards to a standard that we all can enjoy without much management from the HOA Board.
The purpose of our Home Owners Association is to administer and collect the yearly HOA dues from each homeowner, manage the budget, and oversee the upkeep of the neighborhood.
This includes the green space along 228th Ave SE and the natural areas along SE 279th St. We also provide a representative voice for issues regarding the city of Maple Valley.
The Association is comprised of a volunteer board consisting of directors elected from among the homeowners at the annual meeting. You may contact the Board by sending an email to:
elkrunhoa35@gmail.com.
